Rogers Radio Wii Bowling Tournament!!!

Back on March 15th, 2010, Allegra and the Fun Committee announced the First Annual Rogers Radio Wii Bowling Tournament!!!

More than 48 players strapped on their Wii remotes (for safety!) and got down to business, bowling strikes, picking up spares, hitting their splits and even launching the occasional gutterball.

24 teams of 2 faced off until just 12 teams remained. Those 12 teams were whittled down to 6. Those 6 teams fought tooth and nail to become one of the final 3 teams. And then those three teams played against each other, until a champion was crowned.

Nicole and Lance are the champions of the First Annual Rogers Radio Wii Bowling Tournament!!!

Nicole and Lance may be the champions, but all the people who participated are the true winners.

Allegra did a great job organizing the event, matching up experienced players with novices, laying down the rules, and counting up the results. Lynn Busby was also on the scene, providing invaluable technical support and stepping up to run the show when Allegra couldn't be there.

A fun time was had by all!!!

Round 4 is the Championship Round. With 3 teams remaining, it will be played in a round robin format. Each teams plays twice - whoever wins both games is the champion. If all the teams win one and lose one, we'll go to a tiebreak (see below).
